Throughout the Bible, the Lord reminds people to tell all generations of their LORD'S wonderful works. Part of what that means for us as a church is that we must preserve the memory of how God has worked in and through our lives. A church with a strong sense of its history will have a better foundation for identity to build upon for the future. Each year, we take a look back to rediscover how our church came into being, what our early ministry was like, and how it has grown and changed over the years.

Church anniversary is a time when the church celebrates its past, while it thematically points to a vision of its future. We utilize church anniversary celebrations to impart and reflect on our history, reconnect with former members, especially those who have moved away to other cities and states, and highlight our church's central purpose in the local community and beyond.

For an astounding 22 years, Pastor Carter has been at the helm of our church, guiding and inspiring our members with unwavering dedication and unwavering faith. Now, by the leading of the Lord, he has been elevated to the office of Bishop. To honor this momentous occasion, we're hosting our Bishop's Episcopal Elevation Gala. This celebratory event promises to be a high time in the Lord to honor leadership and show our thanks to God for what He has done through the man of God.
