I was in prayer early one morning and just as I felt like I was preparing to close the prayer the Holy Spirit spoke in my ear, “Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Ginger and Water.” Of course, I’m like, “what-the-heck!!!” Then I heard it again, “Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Ginger and Water.” At this point I’m like, "okay, God is this you?"

I’m not going to prolong the story to you at this point, because some of this story is for me personally as God was revealing a prayer he answered through this juice story. I believe this is a direct reminder from God’s word regarding how we can trust his word in times of uncertainty, and look to Him for our answers when man lacks the ability to be trusted.

The bible states in Ezekiel 47:12 (MSG), "But the river itself, on both banks, will grow fruit trees of all kinds. Their leaves won't wither, the fruit won't fail. Every month they'll bear fresh fruit because the river from the Sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing."

This scripture is just a reminder that God is the source to life. and that the depth of God’s provision is to meet the world’s need for life in a time of insufficiency. Now please understand, while I had just spent about an hour in prayer; the prayer I was praying had nothing to do with fruits and roots! I was somewhere else in the spirit praying about most of you who are reading this message. For the Holy Spirit to speak to me about fruits and roots, totally caught me off guard. So, I slowly agreed in my spirit with the Holy Spirit, and then I got up. I sat on the couch for a few minutes and thought about what I had just heard. Then, I started researching these fruits and roots online. I was blown away at the many recipes online with these choice fruits and roots. I love some refreshing juice but I’ve never “Juiced” like some those who really pursue a healthy lifestyle. For me to be in prayer and hear the Holy Spirit speak this to me was a little intimidating, but at the same time, it was encouraging. After I finished researching the fruits and roots, I was excited and started thanking God for sharing with me a recipe He’s put in the earth to help stay healthy and particularly during this Flu & deadly Coronavirus season. To some of you, this testimony may not seem to be much, but to me, it’s God’s love and favor toward myself and all of us who care about our health. For the Holy Spirit to speak this to me at this particular time, I feel was God showing us what to do in order to keep our bodies strong when a virus, flu or cold symptoms should come upon us. God validated a recipe for us to use to keep our bodies strong to fight the flu, viruses or colds at this particular time.

***These fruits and roots combined into a tasty drink packed with properties that have the ability to build the immune system; fight pain in the body; fight menstrual cycle pain for women; fight against belly fat in the body; fight against the flu; fight against inflammation in the body and the pain caused by inflammation and regulate blood sugar for diabetes.***

Can you imagine God giving you a recipe to stay healthy during a time the entire world is on high alert with uncertain viruses? These viruses have caused the death toll to climb at an alarming rate in certain cites around the world. Hospitals are at full capacity and ships are sailing in to assist new patients every hour on the hour.

I can’t personally guarantee this will keep you out of the hospital or harms way. However, I can guarantee the Holy Spirit spoke it to me, and I don’t believe God would allow me to go through the process of research and writing this out for us to read and waste your time and mine, and we sit back and not at least give it a try. If nothing else, it’s a healthy choice fruit drink with protein, low in carbs and zero in fat!

Well, that’s my story behind the fruits and roots, stay healthy and enjoy!

  • 2/3 apples (Fuji apples preferred), peeled and chopped or 1 cup of apple juice

  • 4 Oranges, peeled or 8 ounces of juice

  • 1 Lemon, peeled or 2 tbsp of lemon juice

  • 1 tbs fresh Ginger, mince

  • 1 tbs fresh Turmeric, minced

  • 2 cups water

  1. Place the apples, oranges, and lemon in a blender and “PULSE” until smooth.

  2. Add the ginger and turmeric and give another pulse.

  3. Add in the water and pulse until you get a smooth juice; for a smoother consistency add more water.

I actually used one cup of ice and one cup of water to make sure my drink was chilled. I also added a pineapple slice for an added hint of sweetness and texture.

Recipes online mostly agree to drink this in the morning. I’m sure it wouldn’t be any harm to have a cup before you turn in for the evening.

3 JOHN 1:2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
