Pastor, Dr. Mark Q. Carter, Sr. is the youngest son of Bishop Leon & Wilma Carter. He was prophetically called into the ministry at the young age of twelve, but did not acknowledge his call into the ministry until 1999. He became pastor of The Greater Faith Church of Deliverance on August 1, 2003 after his father passed down the mantle. He was officially installed on September 28, 2003 in the presence of God, family and friends.
Pastor Carter is a loving husband who is happily married to Lady Kimberly Carter. He is very family oriented and loves spending time with their three wonderful Children: Mark Jr., Chancie and Leon. Pastor Carter is also the proud grandfather of four. Pastor Carter count it a blessing to have his children as a part of the church he serves as Pastor and working in the ministry alongside with him and Lady Kimberly Carter.
Pastor Carter has attended many colleges such as Louisville Bible College, Draughons Jr. College, Sullivan University, and Kentucky College of Barbering. Pastor Carter is a multi-faceted individual who not only pastors a church; he is a business professional, state certified and licensed instructor and professional Master barber. He has served as a Kentucky state certified Inspector and has used all positions held as an opportunity to witness, counsel, listen and pray with anyone needing help. Pastor Carter is the founder of Morning Manna Ministries and the annual Colaborers Conference. The Colaborers Conference is hosted at the beginning of the year to help instruct and give direction to pastors, ministry leaders and the laity of the local church in the Body of Christ. On September 10, 2012 the church was blessed to have opened an accredited Bible College; More Manna Bible Institute where Pastor Carter is not only the lead instructor, but the Founder and President.
Pastor Carter loves serving God. He is a powerful straight-forward preacher and a dynamic teacher of the word. The Man of God is blessed and privileged to be one of God's servants that exercise the gifts of the five-fold ministry. He is a man of great integrity who does not mind sharing the goodness of the Lord with anyone. If you see that The Greater Faith Church of Deliverance has a function going on, believe me you will see Pastor Carter there! He is first partaker of everything that we have going on. He enjoys helping with the youth as a great encourager and motivator. He also is a strong leader and has a heart for the men in teaching our men to be priests in their home and great servants in the local church. Pastor Mark Carter's goal is to witness to the lost, teach achieving excellence and holiness to the saved, and instruct us all on building God's kingdom as we await Christ return.

Elect Lady Kimberly R. Carter is a native of Winchester, Tn. She is a loving wife and has been married to Pastor Mark Q. Carter, Sr. for twenty-four years. She has been First Lady of The Greater Faith Church of Deliverance since September, 2003. Together with her husband they are the proud parents of 3 children and have four grand-children.
Lady Carter is a graduate of Northwood University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a graduate of Sullivan University with a degree in Interior Design. She is in involved in many ministries of Greater Faith Church, including their Woman 2 Woman Women's ministry, M.A.D. "Making A Difference" marriage ministry, GFCD food pantry, and Get Fit for Jesus ministry, but is especially active as an instructor in their accredited bible college, More Manna Bible Institute.
Lady Carter is a First Lady that reaches out to all. Instead of being served, she enjoys serving everyone; truly operating in her “Gift of Helps”. She loves serving God and is first partaker of every event their church sponsors when she is not working at UPS, where she has been employed for over 20 years. She is very family oriented and loves spoiling on the senior saints. She is truly a humble and faithful witness for Christ. Her belief is that if God is glorified, His people will be edified; therefore she continues to accept the challenge of speaking out for God wherever He leads her, knowing that if He orders her steps, she will always end up on the right path.
